Looking For Info on my g-grandfather Jacob Schaefer. I believe he immigrated from Bessarabia, Russia in late 1800's. He was married to Sophia Derfs in Delmont South Dakota. My grandfather, Emil, was one of their children.
As of the 1930 census Sophia was living with my grandfather, and I have no further info on Jacob.
I would be interested in any info on his parents, siblings, or info on what became of him and where he went after 1920 census.
