Eugene T. Schamp
1926-2002
Eugene T. Schamp, 76, of Cheyenne died Wednesday, July 10 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 25, 1926, in Kimball, Neb., and had lived here all of his life.
Mr. Schamp had retired as a sign printer for the Wyoming State Highway Department.
He was a charter member of High Plains Church of Christ.
Mr. Schamp is survived by his mother, Pearl Hansen of Cheyenne; and two brothers, Timothy Schamp of Chugwater and Robert E. Schamp of Lancaster, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Schamp; his father, Charles E. Schamp and a brother, Orrin Schamp.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Lakeview Cemetery with Minister Gerald Reynolds officiating.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Honor Guard.
Friends may contribute to the Animal Shelter.
Services are under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes.
