J christoph schauers home in 1860 was in minnesota- he immigrated here in 1856 by noticing another posting online- I am currenty trying to help Rick Schauer do his genealogy- he is descended from Christophs youngest child Ludvig (louis)
They were in the 1870's Sibley county Minnesota and J Christoph Schauer is buried in a cemetery in Sibly County.
