My wifes maiden name is Faupel and her family originate from Fritzlar. We have just found some long lost cousins useing the internet and they have sent us a family tree. Your name is mentioned as is your Great Great Grandfather (Andreas b 1836 d 1917) your Great Grandfather (Riochard b 1872 d 1939) The family of Andreas considered that he had married beneath his station and was cut out of the will. They had 13 children. Do you have a son named Jamie born 1995?
