Surnames: Scheffer
I am looking for any information on my gggrandmother. Her
name was Pauline F Scheffer, b 1836, d 1919. She was
married to Johann H. Zelch, b 1831, d 1908. Everyone else in
my line has come from Germany, so that will be my guess.
I have been unable to find any other Scheffer's buried around her in St. John's Old Cemetery in St. Louis, so maybe her and Johann met somewhere else and then settled in Missouri. Any help would be appreciated.
