Would like any info on Louis Scherer and his
wife Catherine. They were both born in
Bavaria, Germany. They came to the USA in the middle 1860's and settled in St. Louis. The 1880 census states that he was a "Beer Miester"? They had 12 children, one was my grandfather, Arthur Otto, who married my grandmother, Viola Mendenhall
