Any info on the family, siblings, immigration and family on Germany would be very much appriciated. I live in Cincinnati and plan to go to the cemetaries etc once I find out where they are , willing to share pics etc. Thanks! I can be emailed at
MichelleHasEmail@Gmail.com

I am just starting to trace my Family Tree. Your message indicates there must be some relation since Schill is not a common name and Seppig is even more uncommon. My father's name was William Schill. He was the son of
Anna Seppig, born in 1900. Anna, my grandmother came to the United States on the Carpathia. (Tom McFadden, are you my uncle...married to Mary...living in Florida)?

I am looking for information about George and Louisa SCHILL who were living in Winton Place Hamilton County OH in 1880 with their 6 month old daughter Rosa. My Great Grandmother Rosina NIPPERT and her brother Charles NIPPERT are listed in the 1880 census as George's sister-in-law and brother-in-law. This would make Louisa their sister. However, no one in our family has ever heard of Rosina and Charles having a sister.

Schill - I'm Just Starting

Hi,

I know very little about my family other than my grandparents names, Charles Schill and Myrtle Bell Craig Schill. Myrtle grew up on a farm in Iowa, Sioux City I think. I'm not certain if this is where they met or if they ever lived together in Iowa after marrying, but they did live in Omaha, Nebraska for several years before moving to Long Beach, California sometime in the 1940s. They had two boys, Charles and Russell, Russell is my father. My grandfather was probably born sometime in the late 1890s, early 1900s. And he died sometime in the mid to late 1940s after moving his family to Long Beach.

I'm very interested in learning all I can about the Schill's and was shocked when I found these postings since I had no idea that there were so many of us out there. My dad had always assumed that the name "Schill" was probably shortened from a longer name, etc. There was a small group of us Schill's in California when I lived there, which adds to my excitement about seeing these postings. Now, where do I start in my hunt?
