I am trying to find information on my great-grandfather Maximillion Schlichting, born in Vienna, Austria. He married (?) my great-grandmother, an English woman named Edith Reed and had a child, Edith, but was deported on the outbreak of World War II. He was never seen by his family again, although there is a story in my family that my great-grandmother saw what she believed was him in footage from a concentration camp documentary.
