Johann Frerichs "John" Schmidt married Christina Hedemann (date of marriage unknown) in Illinois. On 6 Nov 1889, Christina "Tena" gave birth to twin daughters; Tena and Hannah. Christina died during or shortly after childbirth. John remarried Mathilda Wilhelmine Wurl and he and Mathilda "Tillie" raised Tena (in Iowa), but I cannot find any info on who raised Hannah and where. Hannah married John Fred Wubben in Illinois and she died in 1976.
