Great family history record!!
I have a hunch that with the "Peter" connection your Schneider's and mine are related. The only 2 Schneider's that I have any records on are Jacob Peter and Adolph. These 2 were Catholics, but don't know if by birth or conversion. When I went through the Catholic archives in Austin I did not specifically look for records on the Schneider's. The Catholic archives can be accessed by appointment only. Typically ancestors that have 3 first names, ie, your Wilhemina Carolina Louisa Schneider are protestant. Catholics usually had only 1 given name and a confirmation name which may or may not have been used. There was a group of Schneider's that lived in Fredricksburg, Gillispie County, TX. One of them was a Methodist minister. There is no apparent connection to my Schneider's although one of my Kirschvink's from Fredrickburg did marry a Schnieder after my Kirschvink family moved to Austin. I will keep digging and maybe I will find the connection. Thank you, BJ
