Just a quick update on the project...
We've currently identified about 40 unique Schneider/Snyder/Snider lines, and I'm sure that's just the tip of the iceberg.
We've had a couple of efforts in the project to use DNA to support connections to family lines where the paper trail was weak. In some cases, DNA has supported the connections without question, while in others, "issues" were found. These issues could have been as a result of a "non-paternity event" which could be an adoption, illegitimacy, infidelity or a name change. They're still being worked out.
Please see my website for more information on the project. There's never been a better time to join the party.
