Martin H. Schneider

ZANESVILLE: Martin H. Schneider, 79, of Zanesville, Ohio passed away at 5:09 p.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Genesis Good Samaritan emergency room.

He was born on March 8, 1933, in Dresden, Ohio a son of the late Hugo and Sue McCoy Schneider.

He had worked as an electrician for IBEW Union Local #1105. He was a member of the South Zanesville Church of the Nazarene.
He served in Korea in the United States Air Force for 4 years.

Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Betty Durant Schneider, whom he married September 28, 1957, of the home; three sons, Marty, Mark and Matt Schneider; a daughter, Teresa, (Bud) Tuvell; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Walker, brothers, Mike Schnieder, Ernie (Judy) Schnieder.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Pam and Susan Schneider.

Friends and family may call from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2013 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 in the Snouffer Chapel.
Martin will be laid to rest in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors provided by VFW George Selsam Post #1058.
