Philip Schnerr

Recently I obtained a copy of the Last Will and Testament for Philip Schnerr - Huntingdon County, Register & Recorder Office - November Term 1831 - which confirms that the name of his wife was "Sabina" and, further, that the oldest child was "Joseph". My 2x's great grandfather John Kuhn - Centre Co., Pa. - married Suanna Snarr in 1823; and following her death he married Julia Snarr, the younger sister of Susanna, in 1847, both daughters of Joseph Snarr.

Charles W. Schnerr

I am looking for ancestry information on Charles Wesley Schnerr (b. abt 1848 in PA) married to Theresa Welsh. He served in the Pennsylvania 48th Regiment in the Civil War. He lived and died in Schuylkill County, PA. His brothers were George W. Schnerr and John F. Schnerr. I found an 1870 Census showing a George (age 23) and John (age 20) Schnerr living with a Sarah Schnerr (age 58), but no father listed. I also found a census where Charles W. Schnerr lists his father as being born in Maryland and his mother born in Pennsylvania. If anyone has any information on Charles, George and John's parents, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi Janet,
Nip Snarr was my 4th. great grandmother, that was married to Joseph Shuh. I came down the line by way of their son Joseph Shue that married Elizabeth Holtz, their daughter Catherine Shue / Shew / Shaw that married Alexander Tolbert from Floyd County, Va. I have the information on them to present. Ole great grandpappy Joseph Shue that married Elizabeth Holtz, was a reknown traveller. He was born in the Shenandoah Valley, moved to Augusta, County and into Floyd County, Va. He later moved to Ohio, where he died. I would enjoy very much so to share information with you.

Curtis

I would be happy to talk about the Schnerr family but do not want a virus in my computer!!
