Jacob Harrison Schock, 63, of 304 Vine St., Monongahela, died Sunday in Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a three year illness. Mr. Schock was born in Fayette City, the son of James and Louise Hixon Schock. A retired coal miner, he was a member of the United Mine Workers Local 1197 and was a member of the Pleasantview Methodist Church. His wife, Toledo Schock, died on April 23, 1965. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. John (Janice) Greyshock and Mrs. William (Sara) Patterson, both of Monongahela; four sons, Harry, Jacob, and Henry, all of Monongahela, and Adolph of Finleyville; five brothers, Henry of California, Adolph and James of Monongahela, William of Finleyville, and Ernest of Clarksburg, W.Va.; three sisters, Pauline Richison of Clarksburg, W.Va., Louise Walleck of Altoona, and Rachel Dolinar of Pittsburgh; and six grandchildren.
