To all Schoff, Shoff, Shuff descendents. I am new to Ancestry.com........hope everyone searching Schoff sees this. I have a book published in 1910 by one of our ancestors, Wilfred Harvey Schoff. The first 50 pages or so is a narrative of how and why Jacob Schoff came to America....it goes on to list Jacob and all of his descendents for six generations (ending with my great grandfather in my branch). If anyone wants to e-mail me with their line....I will answer you and give you the information about that person in the book. I imagine that someone out there has this book also, most likely from author's line.....they are Schoffs still living in Pennsylvania area I would guess. This descendent line follows the Schoffs only...not the spouses, although it mentions them. Also listed in the book are land deeds, mortgages, military, census records, etc. It's a magnificent piece of work I marvel at.....Wilfred did a lot of work back in 1910. Jacob was one of seven men that started the town of Ashburnham, MA.
