My tree is The Strain Tree. There are two, mine begins with Elaine Stonemetz. In my pictures, I just uploaded more than 30 images for anyone doing Schooley/Scholey research. The bulk of the pictures are scans of an old notebook I have that my grandmother gave me long ago. In it, my great greandmother copied family lineage from the foolscap of a family bible. The info is rather scattered, and you can clearly see two different handwritings, so it's up to you what you use.
I will say, however, that most all of it has been verified and found to be sound. There's also some pictures...random shots of Schooley Mountain and a hand sketch of Schooley Mt General Store. The other pictures are of the ancient, original home of the first Scholeys in England. There's also an article there on the spa that used to exist on Schooley Mt. Anyone who is linked to the Schooleys from NJ, or who has a link to the Travers of Pennsylvania, (particularly around Noxen) I would love to correspond. Thanks!
