SCHOOLING -- Mrs. Elsie V., 66, Baltimore,Md., formerly of Meyersdale, died July 29, 1971, in Baltimore. Born April 7, 1905, daughter of late Nathan and Lenora (Slayton) Shaffer. Survived by sons, Allen Lemas, Baltimore, and Eugene Painter, Edwards Field, Calif.; also four grandchildren and great-grandchild. Sister of Walter, Meyersdale, R.D. 2; Hunter, Meyersdale R.D. 4; Lee, Baltimore; Mrs. Guy Miller, Meyersdale R.D. 3; and Mrs. James Boden, Somerset. Friends received Saturday and Sunday evenings at Konhaus Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Raymond Mankamyer. Interment, Union Cemetery.
