Personally appeared before me, John Brown, Dept. Clerk of the court of common pleas of said county, Henry Schouten, who being duly sworn, deposes and says that William C. Schouten is of the age of twenty-one years and more, and has no wife: and that Ruth Ann Goodrich supposses to be of the age of eighteen years and more, and has no husband, and resides is said county of Sandusky. Sworn and subscribed before me, this 21 day of February A.D. 1840. Sandusky Co., Ohio
