Services Held Saturday For Alma A. Stetten, 81
Mrs. Alma A. Stetten, 81, wife of Lawton D. Stetten of 127 S. Monroe St., died Thursday at 5:30 a.m. at Bixby hospital where she had been a patient since Friday after an illness of several years.
The daughter of Elmer and Ida Pates Scouten she was born in Jasper on Aug. 27, 1888 and was married to Mr. Stetten Jan. 5, 1910. She resided in Lenawee County all her married life and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She leaves, besides her husband, one son Warren of Troy and one daughter, Mrs. Francis (Frances) Hall of Monroe; four grandchildren; one brother Gaylord Scouten of Toldeo.
Funeral services were held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Tagsold Funeral Home. The Rev. Floyd Ellison and Rev. Kurt Kremlick, Jr., officiated. Burial was at Zion Cemetery.
