REV H. R. SCHRAMM
The remains of Rev H R Schramm, pastor of the Wylam, Ala First Baptist Church, who died from the effects of a dose of carbolic acid, mistaken for medicine, reached Mobile Tuesday afternoon, accompanied by the son of the deceased, Howard Schramm; J. Tyler Turner, a brother-in-law; and A. Rhett Turner, of Vinegar Bend. Mrs. Schramm, nee Miss Laura Turner, widow of the deceased, and her two daughters, Mrs. Tanksley, of Sampson, Ala. and Miss Eben Schramm, were members of the funeral party. The funeral will be conducted from the residence of J. Tyler Turner, 1314 Dauphin Way, this morning at 10 o'clock.
Deceased was pastor of the Baptist churches in this city for a number of years. He married Miss Laura Turner, of Mobile, and several years later was called to a church in North Alabama. Deceased had been in charge of churches throughout the state, and was one of Alabama's best known ministers.
Died at Birmingham Ala, June 5, 1911, Rev Henry R Schramm.
The friends of the family are requested to attend his funeral from the residence of his brother-in-law, J. Tyler Turner, 1314 Dauphin Street, this morning at 10 o'clock. Interment in Magnolia Cemetery.
