Am looking for anyone interested in Gottlieb Adam Schriber. I have his Naturalization paper from Philadelphia, Pa. 1850. Probably declared intention to become citizen in 1848. They could declare then not apply until many years later , so this is a guess as I have not looked that up. There were 2 Gottlieb Schribers in the Civil War (Union)....one from Philadelphia, Pa. and one from Indiana. Remarkably similar stories in them but widows of both men got pensions.
