I have that Guyon Shrum died in 1866 in Howard County, Missouri.

Do you happen to know if Olivia Shrum is the same woman who married Joel Sanders in Cooper Co after the war? She is in Blackwater, Cooper CO on the 1870 census (as Eliza is, but in a different household)?

I am just starting to research the McNutt family and believe Guyan's Olivia may be our gggrandmother's sister.

I think she may be the Olevia Shrum who married Joel Sanders in Cooper County after the civil war...am looking for her death date and place, too.

He married Harriet Jane Moore b. 1816. Their child, William Jasper Schrum (possibly changed it to Shrum) later married Mary Morrell and had several children in the 1880s, Nellie Schrum Brown, Grace Schrum Dobson and 1 or 2 others.

Searching for any clues on Elias' family. Can you help?

Does anyone know a Schramm that lived or stayed in or near Buffalo, NY in 1947, 1948, 1949? Do not know if it is a maiden or married name. Hi John, My brother Douglas Anthony and I were adopted. Our birthname is Schramm. We are looking for our birthparents, or sibling, or ANY relatives. We have adoption papers but no birthparent names. We were adopted in the early '50s as I was born in '48 and he in '49. We live in NY which makes it very hard to get any info. Have you any clues as to how to get around these obstacles? Guyan Schrum and olive jane Mcnutt lived in cooper county Mo. about 1862 or 63 after order # 11 was issued. When they raised my gg grandmother Eliza Ann Thomas. But they must have lived in bates County at one time because that is were Eliza Ann Thomas was born march 20 1858. I'm told they met her at Church. When war broke out in 1862 Eliza's father Stephen Thomas joined the Confederate Army. While he was a way his wife died. and that's where the Schrum's came into my family they adopted Eliza Ann when she was 5. When Stephen thomas returned home after the war he found his wife had and his 5 year old daughter was gone. Eliza Ann was a grown women when Stephen Thomas finaly found her. Eliza Ann Thomas married Feb 22 1873 to William James Osborn b. March 10 1851 died August 21 1926. Eliza Ann died july 19 1926.
