I am the daughter of Frank Martain who married Jorene Mary Schuckman in Tiajuana, Mexico on 6/6/1952. My mother, Jorene Mary Schuckman, is the biological daughter of Roy Siefert and Miriam Jeffries Minor, DOB 6/6/1938 in Cincinatti, OH. She was adopted at 3 days of age by the attending nurse, Mary (Fiedeldey) and her husband Francis Schuckman, who lived in Cincinatti, OH. I was born 4/6/1953 in Los Angeles, CA, as Cynthia Marie Martain. At 2 years of age I was adopted by Jesse Lyndon and Aline (Harrington) Drayer. My great great grandfather was Rufus Allen , wifes name Emma? They lived in Louisville, New York. I was wondering if they were the Rufus and Emma you were looking for. Need More info on Emma, Dates and where she lived.

Looking for any Information on Eugenia Virginia Schuckmann,born 5/29 or 31/1899,died 11/7/1997 in St.Louis,MO.She is buried at Calvary Cemetery in St.Louis. She was married to Brendon Patrick Carmody sometime around 6/5/1941 at St.Joseph's Church in Clayton,MO. They had 6 Children together(2 girls,4 boys..two were twins born in Wilmington,Deleware around 1945).
I have her parents being Victor DeFrance Payton died 1/5/1966 and Marion Reynolds died 1/24/1983 in St.Louis,Mo.
I have also been told Eugenia Virginia might of changed her name to Betty Jean Reynolds prior to marrying Brendon Carmody.

I am researching the surname SHOOKMAN (SCHUCKMAN, SHUPMAN, etc.) My g.g.grandfather, Philip Schuckman (later Shookman) was b.1834 in Franklin Co., PA and had at least one brother, John, b.1831 also in Franklin Co., PA. Their parents (names unknown) moved abt. 1847 to Allen Co., IN where Philip and John both married. About 1867 Philip moved to Richland Co., WI and John appears to have followed shortly thereafter. This family appears to have its roots in Prussia (Germany) with emigration to the US before John's birth in 1831. I would be very interested to speak with anyone have information about this family, other siblings of Philip and John, or their parents names. I have a good bit of descendant lineage to share/swap.

I found this census record in Indiana and believe it may be my SHOCKMAN/SCHUCKMAN line. I also noticed that there is a Philip age 16 b. PA that means he had to be born abt. 1834. Maybe this is your Philip?

No, I am sorry I have not found many details on the Schuckman line. I only know that Emma Schuckman married Rufus Allen. Her father was Augustus Schuckman. I am still looking for any information on them I can get. Wish I could help.
