Catharina Margareta Stigge born von Hagel married Behrend Stigge 1702. Behrend died after six years of marriage. No children were born to this marriage. Her second marriage to Luerke Schuermann of Grossenkneten who took on the Stigge name because the farm was in his wife's name. All the children, seven took on the Stigge name.
