SCHUETZ - FOR "SALE"
A few years ago, I went to a garage sale in Minnesota and picked up a book with the name SCHUETZ on the cover. I thought it was a cook book, and part of it is, but what really caught my eye was the fact that the front half (roughly) of the book, was a family history of the SCHUETZ family, some living in Minnesota & Iowa, Wisconsin, and Wien, MO, originating in Germany (SCHUETZ and KOPP families, but appears that Count John LOFTIZ may have been the first of this family to arrive in America. His son, Albert SCHUETZ married Mary KOPP. Another family listed is the MEYER/KLOSTERMANN family also from Germany). This book was given or sold at a SCHUETZ family reunion held July 28-30, 1989. There is over 100 pages of family history, photos, rememberences, etc in this book.
Are any of these your family? I need to "clean house" on a few of these types of items and would like to "sell" it to a SCHUETZ family member for the $1.50 I paid, plus postage.
Any takers?
