I had relatives by the name of Shew in Montgomery County, PA who owned property in Upper Dublin, Montgomery County in the 1850's to 1870's. They immigrated from Baden, Baden (The Black Forest) Germany but I cannot find any information on what ship they may have taken or where they landed.

I believe the spelling of Shew was Americanized when the arrived in the US. The name of the father was Leonard (Americanized) and the mother was Rosala (Rosalie or Rosanna). I think they had a child William (Wilhelm) and Augustus in Germany, prior to the move.

Does anyone have any suggestions for spelling or Baden, Baden resources? Thank you.
