Looking for descendants or information on Charles (sometimes listed as Carl) Schultz. He was born in Prussia and immigrated to IL in 1874. He came to IL with his wife (variously reported as Charlotte or Johanna) and son Charles/Carl and lived in Lemont, Braidwood, Blue Island/Calumet/Morgan Park. His parents were Johann/John and Maria/Mary.

I found what I believe is his immigration listing as the ages of Charles and his son match my family and they immigrated with the Schroeder family (spelled Schroder in the listing) and the Schroeders' ages match people in my tree.

If this is indeed the right family in immigration records, my Carl/Charles had siblings Frederick or Wilhelm, Ernst, Ludwig, and Wilhelmine.

Charles/Carl was married to two Schroeder sisters. Wife #1 produced three children: Charles/Carl, Bertha (married name Soltow), and Wilhelmine/Minnie (married name Huebner). Wife #2 Caroline produced Ernest/Ernst, Mary, August, Louis, and William.

I have census records and some obituaries and photos. I would love to find someone else researching this line.
