August Schulz B 1854-Probably Potsdam, served in the Prussian Calvary. Married Emilie Janke b. 1860 from Carlstahl, Germany. Who were their parents?
They immigrated to the USA in 1882 and were in New York before July 24, 1882 when my Grandfather Fredrick August Albert Schulz was born. In the 1910 US Census August, Amilia (Emilie), sons: Fredrick 27, Charles 23, John 20, Otto 18, Edward 16, Henry 12, Arthur 11, Harvey 09, Harry 05 all lived on a farm near North Olmsted, Ohio. Otto, Ed, Henry and Arthur never married and were always called the boys. Their older sister Auguste or Augusta (Aunt Gustie) kept house for them after her husband died. I have heard about Uncle Charlie but don’t remember John, Harvey or Harry.
My mother was Harriet Jean Schulz b 1922.
