I have been working on the Schumacher, Schumaker, Shumaker, Shoemaker, Schomaker line. I am pretty confident that I have traced the line back to Ernst Heinrich Friedrich Schumacher who lived in Gross Lukow, Germany. He had two wives, the first being Hanna Maria Sachtteben /Sachtleben with whom they had the following children that moved to the US. John Schumaker who moved to the Kankakee, IL area; Caroline Schumaker; and Theodore Shoemaker, who moved to Morris, MN.
