Dear Joseph,
My husbands's grandfather was Clayton Howe, brother to Nathan Howe. Clayton was born in Pottstown, PA in 1869 with a 3 yr. old brother, Nathan. Their parents were John Howe and Catharine Anderson. Clayton married Elizabeth Kathryn "Schwager" in 1893. We have another Schwager/Howe link, which isn't surprising. Elizabeth's parents were John Schwager and Hannah Hauck. At present, we are stumped on the parents of John because there are two John's about the same age in Marlborough Twp., Montg. Co., PA. This gives us two possible sets of parents. I noticed a response to you from Bill Snyder who has a grandmother, Annie Schwager. Our John had a daughter Annie. Do we have any links here on either the Howe or Schwager families? Betty Howe
