Jacob Schwalbach

Looking for parents, etc of Jacob Schwalbach. Jacob was born in Germany Feb. 1857 and died in Pasadena California Nov. 30, 1954. I first find Jacob in Idaho Co., ID in 1893. Also found divorce records, stating he is divorcing 'Karolina'. I have never been able to find 'Karolina'. Per the census records, Jacob states he came to the USA in 1884 and also 1886 (not sure which one is correct). In 1896, Jacob married #2 wife, Emily Judkins and they have two children (both die as children).

I did find Jacob Schwalbach's father (Jacob Schwalbach) buried in Grangeville, Idaho Co., ID (1898..aprox. 75 years of age). No other information is listed. A short obit states that Jacob (Sr) leaves a daughter Mary A. Holz and a son Jacob Schwalbach (both in Idaho Co., ID)

Jacob has the following children (from the first marriage): (The names of the children come from an old letter).

Mathlida Schwalbach born: 02 July 1880 (marries a Charles BISCHOFF in 1899 in Newark, NJ)
Frederick Schwalbach born: unk
Ottmar Schwalbach born: unk...(marries Elsie E. MARTIN on 21 Aug. 1907 in Idaho Co., ID) Ottmar died abt 1950 in Seattle, King Co., WA
Bertha Schwalbach born: unk

I am totally 'stuck' on trying to find out what happened to Karolina (#1 wife of Jacob).
I also find no mention of Jacob (Sr) with a wife (the one who in buried in Idaho Co., ID)

Does any of this sound familiar to anyone?

Joyce

Elizabeth and Helen Schwalbach

Looking for subject relatives. Census in 1880 shows Helen as a mother in law and Elizabeth as a sister in law (11 years old). They lived in Wisconsin with my GGGFather William H. Walter. Census shows Elizabeth born in PA, Helen in Germany. Helen, I believe was previously married to aPeter Fox in PA or NY. Any info helpful. Please reply to my e-mail. Thanks.
