My Schwandt ancestors who came to Canada in the 1880s came from Saatzig Kreis, Pomerania. Before Saatzig Kreis they may have come from Deutche Krone, West Prussia. I essentially found all the descendants of this family. My Schwandt family started to use the name Swant sometime during the 1st WW. I would like to make contact with any Schwandt/Swant who may have ancestors from the same areas of Germany to explore any relationships. I am also trying to find a Swant relative who disappeared after WW2. His name was Clarence Lester Swant
