My grandfather, Charles H. Schweitzer, b. 9/30/1891, Stockton Twp., Camden Co., NJ. Died 6/16/1960 3065 Collins St., Phila., PA. Buried at Beverly National Cemetery. Sgt. 1st Prov MP Co. 2D Army. Married to:
Bridget Waters, 9/15/1920, St. Michael's Church, 1445 N. Second St., Phila.
She was b. 11/5/1897, d. 1/2/59, 3065 Collins St., Phila. Buried at Beverly National Cemetery. Her parents are listed as John Waters and Catherine Lawler. Bridget was born at her parent's home, 129 Jefferson St., Phila.
Parents of Charles H. Schweitzer:
William Schweitzer, b. 12/24/1868 d. 2/23/1953. Buried in Greenmount Cemetery. His wife is listed as Emma? (last name unreadable).
Parents of William Schweitzer:
John Schweitzer and Mary Ox.
My father, James Joseph Schweitzer was one of Charles and Bridget's 3 sons. The others were Charles and William, all deceased. This is all the verifiable info I have right now. If you are connected to these Schweitzers' please let me know. Our family moved down south and lost contact with them. My dad had always told me that the family originated from Alsace Lorraine, but I have no proof.
