My grandfather, Fredrick Schwindt, came to US in 1919 from Russia. My father believes most of Fredricks family was killed in the revolution in Russia. Fredrick's father was also named Fredrick (sp?) Schwindt and they were peasants living on the Volga (sp?).We don't know if any of his brothers or sisters had families of their own befor dying. Any info would be great. I understand there are many Schwindts in Colorado and the Dakotas.
