I am not directly related (that I am aware of) to the family above, however, I am curious if anyone had any idea about a Eunice (or Eunicia) Scott who married John Johnson (b. 1822 Del). Her first name may have been Mary, although I have no proof of this. She was born in Delaware about 1824. In the 1860 census she is listed in Nanticoke Hd, Sussex Co., Delaware, with her husband and 5 of her 8 known children, By the 1870 census, the family had moved to Queen Anne's Co., Maryland, in the Crumpton post office district. All her children were born in Delaware, She is my gr, gr, gr grandmother. I cannot locate them in the 1850 or 1880 census. I seem to have hit a brick wall where her and her husband are concerned.

Their children are:
John H. b. abt 1846 (I have no other information on him-perhaps he is not a sibling)
David b. 18 Jan 1847 (m. Mary J. Graham)
Curtis J. (my gr, gr grandfather) b, 11 Sep 1849 (m. Sarah E. Foreacres)
Sarah J. b. 12 Sep 1852 (m. Lambert Crossley)
Nathaniel B. b. 15 Nov 1855 (m. Hannah Annie Dempsy)
George R. b. 7 Oct 1863 (I think the year is incorrect and s/b earlier-m. Rose Flannigan)
Annie M. b. 11 Jul 1863 (m. Charles Mohrmann)
Walter James b. 28 Jul 1867 (m. Phoebe Darrell).

If any of this sounds familiar to you, please contact me at slconley@clear.net. I would love to hear from you. Thank you all for your inputs. I will look into some of your individuals, as well.
