Yes, my Asa Jack is the son of Robert, whose brother is Thomas, b. 1787, d. 1849. I would be very interested to know if you have any information on Robert and Thomas' parents. I have them as Archibald Scott, b. 1765, in Scotland, d. 1814, in Franklin County and was married to Sarah (?). I don't have any information on her.

Just to add (and you may already know this), in 1870, Asa Jack was living next door to Benjamin and Elizabeth Stonecypher - they were his wife's parents. Interesting that in 1900 he is listed as a widower living with daughter Mary A Smith. I do have him as having a daughter, Mary Ann who was married to Harvey R. Smith. However I had Asa Jack's death as 1898, which would mean the date of death I have is incorrect. Do you have a definite date of death on Asa Jack or know where he is buried?

Any information you have would be appreciated. My e-mail is betsy0108@yahoo.com.

Thanks for responding.
