Surnames: SCOUT, HOUGH, STONE
I am looking for the connection to parents for James SCOUT b. abt 1824 according to census data, and his wife Charlotte HOUGH, also born abt. 1824. James probably died before 1887 and Charlotte was still living in 1890, as a widow. James is listed by occupation as a bookbinder, and he may have had family in Philadelphia, PA.
In 1850 census of Camden South Ward, NJ we have
James SCOUT age 26, Bookbinder, b. PA
Charlotte, age 26, b. PA
Constant, male, age 2, b. PA
Jerald, male, 1 month, b. NJ
This family is again found Date of census July 16, 1860 South Ward, Camden , NJ
James, age 35, bookbinder, b. PA
Charlotte, age 31, b. PA
Constant H., age 11, b. PA
Ellen, age 8, b. NJ
Emma L. , age 6, b. NJ
Clarence, age 6 months, b. NJ
(But no Jerald is in this 1860 census.)
Then in 1870 census for Middle Ward, Camden City, Camden Co., NJ
James SCOUT, age 45, bookbinder, born PA
Charlotte, age 45, born PA
Constant age 21, born PA
Elllen, age 18, born ?NJ
Anna, age 16, b. ?NJ
Bessie, age 8, b. ?NJ
Elizabeth, age 20, born PA
Robert, age 10/12, born PA
(This time there is no child named Clarence listed)
Found these in the Camden, NJ City Directories 1887-1891:

Charlotte SCOUT widow James 11 s 8th Camden NJ 1890, 1891
Further research into the descendant line in another researcher's family tree gives us some evidence that James and Charlotte Scout's daughter, Elizabeth was born Jun 28, 1863, Camden, NJ, and died May 30, 1933, buried in Evergreen Cemetery. She was married to Wilburt Stone on May 13, 1883 or 1886 1st Methodist Ch., Camden, NJ.
James Scout's son, Robert, likely took up his father's trade as in the 1910 Camden, NJ census we find:
Robert SCOUT age 40, bookbinder, married 11 years
Isabella, wife, age 28, b. NJ
Andrislila, age 9, b. NJ
Eleanor W., age 6, b. NJ
Wilbert E., age 4, b. NJ
