I am looking for connections on Benjamin Franklin Scroggs, (Scruggs) listed in the "History of Texas, Supplements with Biographical Mention of Prominent Persons and Families of The State - Central Texas, 1896". Page 817 lists him as married to Carrie Boynton, born October 25, 1872, "married B.F. Scroggs, a merchant in town". I have had difficulty locating him, sometime listed as Scruggs, sometimes as Scroggs. Any help would be appreciated.
