I am just getting started with genealogy, and am interested in the Seabolt line. My mother, Doris Irene Davis, was the
daughter of Maude Jane Davis and Montie Ute Davis. Maude
Davis, my grandmother, was the daughter of Matilda (called
Tilda) Seabolt and John H. Davis, and Matilda was the
daughter of Mary Grizzle and Elisha Seabolt, according to
my research. Elisha Seabolt was the son of Soloman Seabolt
and Catherine S. Flowers. From what I have found, it looks
as though John Seabolt was the father of Soloman, and I
have not found any information on Soloman's mother.
I have also not been able to find anything about Mary
Grizzle or John H. Davis, any help would be much
appreciated.
