Looking for anyone searching for Searl / Searles / Sarles name in the Albany area. James Sarles was born in 1790 in or near Albany. He married Ruth Purcell. His father may have been William Searl/Sarles and his mother may have been Philema Frink. James and his wife Ruth went to Floyd County Indiana about 1816, perhaps with the Scribners.
