Raph Seaton, US Army Graves Registration Unit, New Guinea, WWII
T/3 Ralph Seaton and T/5 Anthony P. Halpin participated in a recovery team in May 1943 that found the remains of a crew of a missing US Army Air Corps B-25 that had been shot down on July 26, 1942 over New Guinea. One of those sets of remains was my uncle. US records were spotty at the time, so my uncle's remains were never identified and he is still carried as MIA, presumed dead. I am trying to locate the family/descendants of Ralph Seaton in hopes of finding out what unit he was assigned to. This information will help me find the records of the final disposition of unidentified remains.
