Surnames: Hurst, Stewart, Swearingen - mostly SW Georgia, SE Alabama, and No.-Central FL
Still trying to find my grandmother's first husband, Arthur Burnell ("A.B.") Seay - m. January 1917 in Decatur Co. GA. In doing searches for 'Seay', Soundex searches turn up Shay, Shea, etc. Maybe if I knew how to pronounce "Seay" I could do a better job myself of inputting possible spellings. The Soundex turns up WAY too many names otherwise. Help, please?
