I am a New Zealand decendant of the Seccombes from Germansweek, my great grandfather was Richard Seccombe born in Germansweek,who migrated to NZ and started what is now the Lion Nathan Brewery in approximately 1846, will have to look up the exact date.
I have considerable knowledge of our NZ history and some knowledge of our Ausrtalian relatives, as Richard's sister Charlotte and brother William settled in Australia. William not far from where I am living now. My eldest daughter is named Charlotte after her great, great grandfather's sister.
