My Grandfather is Max Seeds and my father is Hugh Edward Seeds. My 2 Uncles are Derald and Lowell Seeds. All from Urbana Illinois. I have a brother Max Seeds and a cousin Eric Seeds.

Hi.
The letters to Iris Seeds were dated 1913.
I found the family through Bryn Mawr College (many of the letters were from a PhD. holder from there. I've sent the letters to them, but would be glad to give you the Bryn Mawr email and the name of the person who sent the letters on from me to the family.
So I don't have the letters any more, but if you're related you'll be in touch with a very interesting branch of the family.

Do you have any dates on these letter posted to Germantown? My great uncle lived in Germantown, and I do not know the names of his children. My maiden name was seeds. My grandfather was James Seeds, his brothers were Thomas, John A.,Jr,george Sister Virginia and Frances

Hi, how do? I have some personal letters written by members of the Edward Gordon Grosvenor family. He was a professional engineer and lived in Doylestown, PA, and later with his wife at 1028 W. Upsal St, in Mt Airy, PA. His wife may have died in Swarthmore, PA. They had a daughter who went to Bryn Mawr and received a Ph.D. Her name was Gordie Grosvenor and she served overseas after WWII helping displaced persons. She may have had a sister, Kiki. Kiki married Lt. Ralph Lester Cotton, Jr. THERE ARE ALSO SOME LETTERS TO MISS IOLA SEEDS OF 607 W. UPSAL ST, IN GERMANTOWN, PHILADELPHIA, PA. These last letter are older. I have a few photos, too. My family goes back to George Seeds b.1753, orange co.,New york. Do you have anything connected to him further back? Also, helping a cousin try to find more about Alexander T. Seeds b. 1800, md. Anna..., had a son, Sylvester Power Seeds. Thanks, Laureen

John seeds was married 2nd to Nettie Barlett. Children : of John & Mary, Fred, Ora Mae, William, Albert, Dophia. With Nettie: Arthur, Frank, & Della. My great grandfather was (James) Arthur. George- My gt-gt grandfather was Jonathan Power Seeds. his father, james Madison, hisjjames from New York, his GEORGE! Shubel york was a brother to Jonathan Power. Would love to exchange information with you. I am trying to help a "most possible" cousin find a connection with Alexander T. Seeds & his son Sylvester Powers Seeds. Looking for decendents of Daniel and Emily Seeds. They were in Pittsgrove, NJ for many years. Their children were John Jonathan (1847), Jacob (1846), Henry M. (1852), Hester Ann (1853), Rebecca F. (1855), Samuel D. (1857), William L. (1859), Robert M. (1861), and Daniel G. Jr. (1868).

I'm having difficulty finding anyone who has information about this family.

Hi anyone still interested in the Seeds family. I have ancestors who are Seeds who lived in Springvale Ballywalter in the North of Ireland and some of then emigrated to Canada in the early part of the 20th century.

William Seed born 1871 Married a Rosina Willoughby in 1892.
Children where.

William Seed Jr died 1918 in WW1
Richard Seed still have not found out dates ?
Emily Seed born 1894 England Married Fredrick Foey 20 Aug 1921 Hamilton Wentworth Ont Canada

Mary Seeds m. to Charles Asay, Philly, PA/Burlington, NJ area, early 1800s

I have a death certificate from Mary Asay which says her parents were Charles Asay and Mary Seeds. Mary Asay was married to and widowed early by William Beadell and reverted to using her maiden name after her husband died. I don't believe they had any children but I don't know that for a fact.

Mary Asay Beadell was 114 when she died in the Burlington County hospital in Mt. Holly, NJ, in 1937. She said she was born in Philadelphia, PA, on 19 Feb 1823 and that there was a bible which had her birth recorded in it.

She is a sister of my ancestor, Edward P. Asay, so I would like to find out more about her parents, if possible.

Where Charles Asay and Mary Seeds were born is unknown on the certificate.

Someone submitted her & her parents names to the FamilySearch.org website but they listed her mother as Mercy Seeds. Her name is clearly Mary on the death certifcate so I wonder if this person got the information from somewhere else.

If anyone has any information, I would appreciate hearing from you.

Hi Gayle, I saw your posting to Josephine Miller about Arthur Seeds and was so happy to read it. Arthur Seeds is my Grandfather and the info I have on his siblings is limited. I knew he had two brothers, Edward D. Seeds and Herman Seeds and one sister Carrie M. Seeds but no info on their spouses or other relatives. Also I know that Arthur Seeds father was John L. Seeds and (I think) his first wife's name was Mary M. and his second wife's name was Elizabeth Good. he name of Elizabeths parents were shared with me by DICK SHOVER.

Elizabeth Seeds was the daughter of William Seeds and Martha Seeds. I do not have the parents of William Seeds,
but Martha was a daughter of James Seeds and Isabelle Fletcher.

I think that parents of William Seed b. ca Jan. 1764, Saintield Parish, Co. Down, Ireland and d. 11 Apr. 1841, PIckaway Co., OH was William and Jane (???) Seed.

I think that Willam Seed b. ca 1737, Ireland, md. ca 1761, Ireland to Jane ??? b. ca 1741, Ireland, d. 22 Dec. 1824, Established Church. They lived in Saintfield, Co. Down, Ireland. They had three children which were Agnes b. ca 1762, d. PA, wife of Robert Huston d. pr 1826, John b. 1766, Ireland, d. 1796, PA and our William. The three siblings, Agnes, William and John came to the U. S. in May 1794 and at time ages were reported as 32, 30 and 28 yrs. respectively.
