      <description>Not sure if you're still looking for this info or if it's even for the same person, but August W. Seemann b: 6/16/1847 in Germany, d: 2/21/1907 in Columbia Co. Wisconsin.  Married Evestina(aka Tena) Julia Koekbe on 8/14/1878 in Columbia Co. Wisconsin. Tena's b: 03/1885 in Germany d:??.  From the 1900 census (where the name was shown as Seemen) they had 4 children listed: Laura b: 04/1881 in Wisconsin d:??; William b: 12/1883 in Wisconsin d:??; Tena born 09/1886 in Wisconsin, d:??; and Edward b: 6/9/1889 in Randolph, Wisconsin, d:??.  My records show Edward married a Minnie b: abt 1893 in South Dakota.  They had a son named Willis August Seemann b: 6/7/1914 in Randolph, Wisconsin, d: 5/4/1967 in Waupun, Wisconsin.</description>

We have always liked to have documentation and to cite our sources. We also would want to cite you as a source to give you credit for your research if at all possible, that is, if we ever were to write this up on a gottschee or gearhart/wittine related website. Potter &amp;amp; Co.; 10" x 13" x 3.5" thick; 1588 pages, corners and edges rubbed, VG, clean, binding sound, hinges intact. Gilt stamped spine, beautiful Gothic Revival blind embossed tabernacle on both covers; fine calligraphic ownership on front blank, in blue-gray and yellow inks: "Der familie Jonathan &amp;amp; Angelina Seeman, Ober Bern...27th Marz des Jahrs 1877", and an extensive Family history on 5 decorated leaves, in equally fine penmanship and calligraphy in blue and red inks.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I thought there might be someone on the Seeman board who may be interested in looking into this bible.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;It is listed in the search as: 1872 German Bible Upper Bern Berks County Family Geneal&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>

Walter died in May of 1999 and Ellen in March of 1995. &lt;br&gt;Charles Oct. 1973, Ruth Feb. 1970, Marg April 1947, Fred April 1971, All 4 of the girls are gone but, I do not have the dates. &lt;br&gt;Walter was my grandfather Ellen my Grandmother. My mother is Darla. Any info on James or Daisy would be greatly welcombed. I have gotten several responces but, no one has sent me info. I was emailing with a man named Thomas that said that he workded with Walter at the Company store that Benton ran.He gave me some insight on my grandfathers life when my mother was just born. Jim and Daisy Seeman lived in Isabella as did I , Jim was my great uncle. brother of Edward Keenan Seeman, my grandfather.  I grew up;with Walter, Charlie,&lt;br&gt;Phoebe, Erma and Florence, but know nothing of them now.  I have been trying to track down Frederick Seeman' s ancestors in Germany but no luck. Do you know any thing about them?  Rebecca Weimer has a good family history  that goes back to  Hans Georg Weimer born in Germany on&lt;br&gt;April 28, 1653.</description>

      <description>I say Gottschee, Austria meaning that's what they considered it at the time, although now that same area is definitely a part of Slovenia. Yes I have heard of many records being destroyed, but I always keep an eye and ear open for anything that may match up with another family... sometimes families keep real good records of their own, and one never knows when they'll run into a long lost distant relative who may know more than I! They married at St Marys Church in West Point Nebraska. They had 10 children. Her sister Christina Seeman married a Adolph Butchen that was a close friend of Joseph and they came from New York together after landing in the US. My grandmother Anna died in the 1918 flu in Nebraska. I don't have any other info on her. Any connections?&lt;br&gt;Sandi</description>
