I am certain we have a match!

John was married to a woman named Ann Elizabeth ("Lizzie") Barcus of Camden, Kent County, Delaware in 1856 and had at least nine children. But, I have seen lots of documents about her - but none of them ever had any name "Dorea" - she was always Lizzie. Nevertheless, I am sure it is one in the same.

John died on 16 February 1881 of apoplexy. His age was listed as 47. His occupation was listed as a saw spinder. He was buried in New Cathedral Cemetery in Philadelphia.

I am surprised that Susan did not act as godmother to any of John's children (I have all baptismal certificates but 2).

I am very excited - I never knew of this sister. Do you know where they were born? I have reason to believe it was County Offaly.
