I am looking for information on the family of James Seery born in Ireland about 1828. I have no information on his parents or siblings. He came to the US as a young man planning to hire out to fight in the war but it was over when he got here. He settled in Indiana and married Nancy Ellen Wood who was born about 1845. They had three children I know of: Kathryn, John, and Mary (there may have been others). Kathryn was born about 1875, John May 1877 and Mary later. Mary married Patrick Dugan. They also lived in Indiana close to Bedford. The family is listed in the 1880 census at Washington, Owen, Indiana. John (my grandfather) listed his birthplace as Ramona, Owen County Indiana.
