The residence of C. P. Kearney, a few miles south of town was the scene of an old-fashioned wedding ceremony last Wednesday evening. It was the occasion of the marriage of his daughter, Miss Annie Kearney, to Mr. Lewis Segar, of this city, Rev. S. Fleming, of the Baptist Church, officiating. After the wedding ceremony was pronounced the guests, of which there were quite a number, repaired to the marriage feast and were regaled in a truly hospitable fashion. Mr. and Mrs. Segar left on the evening train for Dallas, where they will spend a few days, returning to this city to make their home. The best wishes of their many friends will attend them through life.
