I am trying to find out who Emily's parents were. Emily married William F. Porter (1826-1858) in 1843 in Madison Co., GA. When he died, he left Emily with 4 sons ranging in age from 2 to 13. She then married Charlton Coker; they are in the 1860 census in Banks Co, GA, and that is the last I can find of them. Emily and William were my gg grandparents. If anyone knows anything about Emily's parents, or where she was after 1860 I would love to have your help.
