I am quite uneasy about answering the request but here goes........Three Native American{Cherokee and African) brothers sold into slavery to the Hickey farm did not keep Hickey name after emancipation but returned to Seldon name.Lived in and around Harris Talbot Muscogee county Georgia for past approximately 150 years. I am a descendent of one of the three brothers.\Story goes one brother escaped and connected with the Seninole Indians in Florida. We all look alike.I have a cousin Peggy Seldon Gavin that lives in Columbus Ga. Not many left. If you have knowledge of this same story please reply .I know someone from Scotland owned the three brothes and probably were genetically related,but did not find it hard to sell them to the Hickey farm in Georgia.
